Let’s keep things real. If someone claims they have a 20% response rate on 2,000 emails per day and such, it’s horseshit.
Ignore it. I know. Sending cold emails is not a magic slot machine.
Generally, if you can get even a 1% positive response rate, it’s awwwwwwwwwwesome.
And you know what’s cooler? I’m going to show you exactly how we do that.
Before even getting your laptop ready—think to yourself: WHO are you sending to?
- What industry are they in?
- What are they struggling with?
- What problems do they have that they can’t solve themselves?
Identifying your ideal customer profile is the first step to a successful campaign.
Now I’m going to show you the exact copy we’re currently using.
The copy must:
- Use the language of your ideal customer
- Spark a conversation, not a meeting
- Give them a good reason to respond
“Hey [X], noticed you’ve been expanding your sales team recently.
Are you set up with enough opportunities to keep them busy?
If not, I’ve got a free B2B lead gen playbook your reps can use to fill their own calendars without extra ad spend.
Want me to send it over?”
There you go. Just play with the wording, and you should be ripping your email campaign sooner or later.
Have fun,
Khoi
